Is it permitted to overnight anchor for camping in the area I’ve circled in red? If not I’d the a recommended safe area to anchor?

We found a sea turtle nest on sea satellite preserve today that is being washed away by the tide. We did try and cover it as best as we could. And we marked it. I’m not sure if someone is in charge of sea turtle egg preservation but we left worried about the hatchlings. The eggs were exposed. We covered them with sand and marked it. It was near the end of the shore coming facing towards pass a grille beach. Not far from a green cement pole.
I’d like to bring my boat out there. Where’s the best place to anchor for the night? Any ideal spots?
Can you camp at the north public access area?
Hi Tom,
Camping is only allowed in the South Public Use Area.
Best,
Hi is there bio luminescence at night there? Any nighttime guided kayaking?
Hi Ryan,
I have seen great bioluminescence around Shell Key. Here is a great resource for timing your visit for optimal viewing.
Hope this helps!
